Programming

On this page I'm presenting my production equipment monitoring application. I designed, developed and implemented the proof of concept, this  involved both software and hardware side. After this I get a team of 3 people assigned to support me on further development. Since then we have gone through a several iterations of the development of both software and hardware. The system is running now on 100 machines with the ongoing  implementation plan to deploy this system in another factory.

This is a low cost production monitoring application using Raspberry Pi4 and 7" touch screen installed on each production machine. System is capable of counting parts produced in the real time and loging data into SQL server. The system also gather information about downtime duration an reason, the list of the downtime codes can be tailored to the specifc machine. The same system is used to report tool changes, quantity produced by tool, reason of tool change and duration.  System is integrated with the ERP system and can read and write using REST API.

The future release will include the further integration with the machine controls and will provide information about the setup and process parameters.

PS. The gauge glitch is caused by the gif compression software I used, it is looking normal on the actual device.

Azure function app

Azure Functions developed in Python and Node.js enable seamless integration between various systems, including ERP (SAP), shop floor execution (Parsable), and asset management (Maximo). These functions play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the entire quality and production platforms, enabling the synergy of all systems combined.
